Business and Marketplace Research Intern

MedSpark improves the quality of people’s lives throughout the world by collaborating with medical professionals to bring their product ideas to life. MedSpark, is currently seeking a self-motivated Business and Marketplace Research Intern to join our team in a part-time capacity to help improve MedSpark’s performance in the medical device design and development marketplace.

 

You will be working alongside a small, yet nimble team that designs and develops medical products that make an impact on the world of medicine. Your primary role will be researching new and existing medical device design and development marketplace practices and standards to bolster MedSpark’s ability to operate efficiently and effectively in the marketplace. Here, you’ll enjoy the freedom to explore new projects, the support to think outside the box, and the advanced tools and technology that foster innovation and achievement. Work hours and days are extremely flexible, based on need and your availability.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Research New and Existing Medical Device Design and Development Marketplace Practices and Standards.
  • Document Research Results of such that they Add Value and are Easily Accessible.
  • Collaborate with MedSpark Staff to Identify Effective Methods and Focus of Research.

Required Proficiency, Experience, and Knowledge:

  • Currently Pursuing Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and/or Business Management Related Field(s) of Study.
  • Outstanding Problem Solving and Organizational skills.
  • Strong Initiative with Ability to Independently Execute and Clearly Document Research Plans.
  • Desire and Capacity to Dive Deep on Topics Being Researched.
  • Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills (English).

Preferred Proficiency, Experience, and Knowledge:

  • Currently Enrolled in one or more of the Following Fields of Study: Marketing, Entrepreneurship, or Business Management.
  • Hands-On Experience with Marketing, Management, and or Business Development.
  • Medical Device Industry Experience.
