Fellow/General Surgery Resident/Medical Student Activities

The fellow/resident/student educational and networking program will be held on Wednesday, May 29 through Saturday, June 1. The overarching goal of the program is to allow residents and students to explore their interest in vascular surgery. The program provides an excellent opportunity for learners of all levels (first year medical students to senior level surgical residents to vascular surgery trainees) to meet other learners with similar interests and importantly provides students and residents with the opportunity to meet members and leaders of the vascular surgical community.

SVS/STS/AATS Symposium
SVS/STS/AATS Symposium: Advances and Controversies in the Contemporary Management of Complex Thoracoabdominal Aneurysmal Disease Advances in technology, both surgical and endovascular, have outpaced common clinical practice knowledge resulting in new paradigms in patient treatment, particularly for complex aortic aneurysms. This session, a collaboration among the three organizations and taught by leaders in each specialty, will focus on aneurysms involving the visceral vessels, as well as acute and chronic dissections.

Exhibit Highlights
The Exhibit Hall will bring together 150 organizations with an almost endless array of new vascular surgery products and cutting-edge technology for attendees to touch, feel and compare. It is a dynamic marketplace where vascular surgeons network with their industry peers. To check it out, just follow the red carpet from the plenary session to the Exhibit Hall. Location
The 2013 Vascular Annual Meeting® will be held at the Moscone West Convention Center, located in the urban heart of San Francisco’s downtown district. Moscone West is located approximately 14 miles from San Francisco International Airport and 20 miles from Oakland International Airport.
